The Junior Schemes are held in London and Manchester. The Junior level is designed as an introduction to the Scholars Scheme, suitable for students who have achieved a Distinction in Grade 2 Ballet.

The Mid Schemes are held in London and Manchester. The scheme was introduced in 2012 as a stepping stone between the Junior and Senior Schemes. It is suitable for students who have achieved a Distinction in Grade 4 Ballet.
South Mid 1.00pm - 4.30pm
North Mid 1.30pm - 4.45pm
The Senior Scheme is currently held in London and Manchester. The Senior Scheme is designed to challenge students who may wish to progress on to vocational training, it is suitable for students who have achieved Distinction in Intermediate Foundation Ballet.
South Senior Ballet 1.00pm - 4.30pm
North Senior Ballet 1.30pm - 4.45pm
The Jazz Schemes are held in both London and Manchester. The Jazz classes are specially designed for students interested in progressing in Jazz and Musical Theatre, it is suitable for students who have achieved Distinction in Grade 4 in Ballet, Modern or Jazz.
South Jazz 1.00pm - 4.30pm
North Jazz 10.00am - 1.15pm
Junior Male Ballet 1.00pm - 4.30pm
Senior Male Ballet 1.00pm - 4.30pm
Junior Male Ballet 1.30pm - 3.00pm

The Scottish Schemes run in a similar way to the above but Seniors either do Ballet or Jazz. The Junior, Mid and Senior schemes are suitable for the same grades as above.

Please note that the Scholars Scheme is for under 18s. At the end of the academic year that students turn 18 their Scholars place will come to an end.
To audition for the Scholars Schemes across the UK, students are expected to have passed with Distinction the following grades.
Male students should apply for their relevant level and will take part in the same audition as female students.
We would encourage all students who feel they are able and would like to take part in an audition to apply. bbodance are looking for students who have a love of dance with good performance quality, artistry and technique, as well as those who have already achieved high marks in their bbodance exams.
We also expect all auditionees to be a student at a bbodance School or with a bbodance Registered Teacher. bbodance will check with your listed teacher that they have approved of your application before the audition.
On the day
Students will be expected to arrive 30 minutes before their audition time in order to register at Reception.
After the Audition
The panel and the faculty teacher will make their decisions and Headquarters will email both teachers and students with the outcome within four weeks of the audition date.

Audition dates for the 2019-2020 Scholars Scheme will be published on our website in early 2019.
