Two-part CPD Webinar — Safeguarding as part of an Onsite and Online Teaching Practice

Registration is closed for this event

Taught by Sam Le Bihan.

Delivered in two parts, this webinar is suitable for dance teachers, school staff, assistants, and volunteers. The aim of the webinar is to ensure that everyone understands effective safeguarding practices in order to keep students safe within an online and/or onsite setting.

The webinar will cover legal requirements, bbodance safeguarding policies and procedures, supporting students in and out of the studio, and best practice. The session will be discussion-based with some practical scenarios to support in-depth learning of polices into practice.

The webinar will take place on:

  • 25 November — 11am-1pm
  • 27 November — 11am-1pm

In addition, faculty will assign supportive tasks to help you embed the principles discussed into your own practice.

This CPD Webinar is a live-streamed version of the CPD Course N originally scheduled to take place at Dance Days 2020. If you registered for Course N, our team will be in touch soon to transfer your registration.

For safety reasons, this session is live-stream only; the only onsite staff will be the course tutor and her support staff. If you are unable to attend the webinars live, we will send you a link to the recordings.

The webinar is open to all dance teachers, not just bbodance members.

Enjoy the webinar!
