Adult Ballet is on the rise, with a wide range of well-documented research supporting its health and fitness benefits. Adult Ballet classes can improve posture, mobility, coordination, and energy levels; they are also an opportunity to have fun and enjoy a sense of wellbeing.
Join specialist Adult Ballet teacher, Laura Carnaby to explore adapting ballet techniques for adult learners. This course will feature different material from our previous Adult Ballet course held in September 2020. You do not need to have attended that course in order to take part in this one; it will be helpful either way.
Topics we will cover this time include:
- class structure ideas
- class content ideas
- class movement exploration
- seated/chair exercises
- and brainstorming more interesting ideas for your studio!
Open to all dance teachers, not just bbodance members.
This session will be recorded while it is taking place.
By taking this course, you will earn two hours of CPD.
