Muscles, Motivation & Movement

As we return to working in the studio there are many aspects of training to be taken into consideration to ensure we're offering our students the best possible learning experience. In this full-day workshop, we will be examining some of these key components to enable a happy and fulfilling experience for all. 

This session will look at the moving body and the necessary preparation to ensure a safe and gradual approach to fitness. For many students who have experienced months of working at home in small dance spaces, it will be necessary to consider a gradual increase back to full form. Injury prevention is an important element of safe practise. 

Focusing on students' wellbeing and mental preparation for returning back to the studio and performance space. 
Formative learning, Motivation, Self-confidence, Concentration and Goal-Setting will be just some of the key areas covered in this session.

How much and when to introduce certain steps back into the vocabulary. This session will also include technical analysis along with ideas and appropriate examples for the different levels and age groups. 

With Sarah Dickinson; open to all dance teachers, not just bbodance members. Equivalent to six hours of CPD.
