Take to the stage and showcase your talent and creativity. We are excited to be facilitating ONLINE DANCE COMPETITIONS for bbodance students and members in each region of the UK and internationally.
Submit a dance video to be shown at your Regional Members’ Meeting. The meeting attendees, along with bbodance CEO Julie Bowers and an external judge will feedback on the submissions and a winner from each region will be decided.
The winner of each regional competition will go through to the live final, the Dance Days Challenge, held on April 4th at Dance Days 2024 in Birmingham. The overall winner will be crowned and recieve their name on the Dance Days Shield!
Entry requirements:
- The closing date for each region will be on the 1st of the month in which their meeting is held, see a full list of closing dates below!
- You MUST be associated with a bbodance Registered Teacher or be a bbodance Next Stage Adult Dance Member.
- Winners of each Regional Competition must be available on April 4th for the live final, held at Dance Days 2024.
- You must be aged 6 or above (adults are welcome to apply too!)
- Videos must be between 1 and 3 minutes.
- Entries can be solos, duets, trios or groups!
- The rest is up to you!
How to enter:
- Register via the online form. After registering, within 48 hours you will receive an email informing you how to upload your video. If you do not receive this email, please contact lucy.jennings@bbo.dance
- £15 per entry - when selecting a payment option, please select the region in which your bbodance school is based.
- If you are entering on behalf of a duet, trio or group. Please submit ONE registration form and label the video accordingly (eg. 'Jazz Duet - Name and Name' or 'Group - The BBO School of Dance')
