Fit dancers are effective and resilient dancers, but knowing what your dancers need and how to guide them beyond the dance class can be challenging. In order to optimise performance and reduce the risk of injury, dance teachers must consider holistic fitness needs.
This session will explore:
- Components of fitness in dance
- How we evaluate dancers’ fitness
- Practical ideas to incorporate into your own teaching and your dancers’ home training
Taught by Katy Chambers from Performance Pro Dynamic Physiotherapy.
Open to all dance teachers, not just bbodance members.
This session will be recorded while it is taking place.
