On Friday 12 July, we were delighted to award well-deserved diplomas to our latest class of dance teaching students.
This year's students graduated from Levels 4, 5, 6, and 6 Extended of our comprehensive Dance Teaching Qualifications (TQ) programme. The intensive part-time courses are designed to equip our graduates with the latest knowledge about dance technique and pedagogy. They provide comprehensive tuition applicable to most dance genres; they also allow students to focus on their preferred genre and, even, the age group or level they intend to teach in the future.
The afternoon began with an informal reception at our state-of-the-art riverside headquarters in Battersea Reach, where, surrounded by friends and family, students took turns for their graduation photos. Students were joined by our latest Patron, Birmingham Royal Ballet Principal and former bbodance Scholar, Brandon Lawrence, Patrons Brenda Last OBE and Doreen Wells, Marchioness of Londonderry, as well as bbodance Executive Chairman and Director of London Studio Centre, Nic Espinosa.
Following this, the graduation party walked to the nearby Crowne Plaza® Hotel for the Awards Ceremony and celebratory lunch. bbodance Head of Teaching Qualifications, Sam LeBihan introduced the ceremony and Patron Brandon Lawrence handed students their diplomas.
Congratulations 2019 Graduates!
