Examiner Recruitment
At bbodance, we are committed to undertaking high-quality assessments that enable learners to trust the Graded and Vocationally Graded Examination system and Performance and Dance Awards, as well as ensure parity of qualification achievement between Awarding Bodies. As we offer bbodance Registered Teachers on-demand Examinations in multiple genres, we're currently looking to recruit new Examiners to conduct sessions across the UK.
Applicants should have:
- A Level 5 (or above) dance teaching qualification and/or Registered Teacher Status with a Dance Teaching Society;
- A minimum of three years of professional teaching experience;
- An up-to-date DBS certificate, or be working to obtain one;
- Safeguarding Training — if not, they will undergo it if their application is successful.
Applicants should also be available at weekends in order to undertake Examinations.
Once accepted, training will commence early 2023 and all trainee Examiners must be present for bbodance Examiner Training at Elmhurst Ballet School, Birmingham, on Thursday 13th April 2023. During the training process candidates will undertake a series of observations of Live and Digital Graded and Vocationally Graded Examinations and complete genre-specific training (delivered via Zoom sessions) before being formally appointed as bbodance Examiners.
If you'd like to discuss becoming an Examiner with bbodance, please contact us and we will schedule a time to discuss.
To apply, please complete the application form here by Friday 11th November 2022.
We look forward to receiving your application!
