At the end of a year that has tested the endurance, dedication, and passion for dance we all share, we're delighted to announce our first-ever financial scholarships for bbodance Scholars. 

The scholarships for the academic year 2020-21 are generously funded by the Brandon Lawrence Collection at DANSEZ®, the UK's leading eco-friendly dancewear brand.

The scholarships have been awarded to four of our continuing Scholars based on their outstanding commitment shown throughout the Scholars Scheme classes over the past year, their hard work in progressing their Ballet artistry, technique, and musicality, and their overall professionalism.


In alphabetical order, the winners are:

• Duncan Moffat — Male Ballet South Scholar, taught by Melanie Dudman
• Molly Boath — Senior Ballet Scottish Scholar, taught by Fiona Forbes
• Sofia Hensley — Senior Ballet South Scholar, taught by Mandy Godding & Jackie Shewell Thomas
• William Illesley — Male Ballet South Scholar, taught by Whanita La Bouchardiere

Auditions for the 2021-22 bbodance Scholars Scheme will take place this May.
