We are thrilled to see over 60 talented dancers join our Scholars Scheme for the 2024-25 programme. The Scheme has been running for over 50 years and has seen a number of influential names amongst the faculty, including Brenda Last OBE and Anita Young MBE. We have also kept in touch with previous Scholars and are proud of their successful careers, including Brandon Lawrence, who is also now a bbodance Patron!
Students attend fortnightly classes in Birmingham or London, working on technique, artistic expression and repertoire. The Scheme culminates at Scholars Weekend; this event is a chance for students to share their work and come together for an incredible weekend of training.
