Our Pre-Graded Exams are designed to be an introduction to dance and to prepare young students for Graded Examinations. As a guideline, they are intended for children ages 4-7; however, students of any age may take them.


We currently offer:

• Introduction to Ballet
• Pre-Syllabus (Tap and Modern)
• Pre-Primary (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern)
• Primary (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Musical Theatre)

Our Pre-Graded Exams are less formal than our regulated qualifications, which begin at Grade 1. For Nursery Ballet and Pre-Primary, children are accompanied by their teacher or assistant. At Primary level, students undertake a more formal assessment, normally without their teacher present.
